  • This database contains all available Durie events culled from old parish registers (OPR) and statutory records in Scotland up to 1805.

  • It will be expanded to include later records and the 1881, 1891 and 1901 census returns, where law and the UK Data Protection Act allow, so keep coming back.

  • Once this site is fully enabled, this page will show restricted data. Fuller information will be available to members of The Circle of Duries

We can undertake family history research as a paid service for individuals, including genealogy and the achievement of Arms legally in Scotland for those who are eligible.

The data have come from various sources. In many cases, this involved a comparison of ScotlandsPeople and Ancestry.com against the original records.

Not everyone is there - may have been mistranscribed as DAVIE or DAIRY for example, or completely missed.
