Chief's son marries!

The Best Man was Doodi Bryden - a friend since Philip’s first day at boarding school at Glenalmond, Maid of Honour Rosalind Cunningham - a friend of Sandra’s since university, Flower Girls Maëlle Luna Paolini, Isla Dewar Durie and Eloise Helfert - neices, the Page Boys Tristan Helfert and Zacharie Paolini - nephews. The Piper was Malcolm Innes, who was Best Man to the Chief at his wedding in 1972. After the ceremony they all, ninety mainly young friends from all over the world, celebrated at Finnich Malise, Stirlingshire – the Durie family’s home. They dined in the Steading Hall and danced into the early morning in the tented Steading courtyard. At Philip’s specific request his father, his brother James and his American brother-in-law Adrian were all kilted in Durie tartan. It was the first time Adrian had ever worn a kilt...
